Come visit the world of Illustrated Ink, original art by Leila. Sugar skulls, zombies, pirates, and gypsies populate my traditional tattoo inspired paintings and functional art. My pieces are influenced by a mix of old school tattoos, vintage pinups, "Dia de los Muertos" (Day of the Dead), burlesque dancers, and campy horror movies. Basically, all things wicked and taboo! I put a lot of love and effort into each of my one-of-a-kind creations. I paint in acrylics on wood plaques, jewelry boxes, foot stools, small tables, decorative boxes—okay, most everything I can get my hands on! I also create "tattoo kitchen" pieces, such as bread boxes, canisters, and cake plates. I have a great appreciation for vintage treasures, and I strive to give forgotten items a new life as works of art. I also offer high quality prints, postcards, and magnets of my work.
